This Privacy Policy describes how Envurn collects, uses, and shares information about you.
The short version: We collect the minimum data needed. We never sell your data. You can delete everything at any time.
Envurn is currently a pre-launch project not yet commercially incorporated. This policy will be updated as our legal status evolves.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you use the free analysis tool, we collect the answers you give.
If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address.
In a future version of the app, you will optionally be able to upload a photo for AI physique analysis.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting provider collects standard server logs:
- IP address (anonymized)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring website
These logs are used to detect abuse and ensure security. Retained 30 days max.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate your personalized plan
- Notify you when Envurn launches
- Maintain and improve the Service
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We never sell your personal data.
3. When we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Service
- Law enforcement when required by law
- In a business transfer (merger, acquisition)
4. Data storage and security
Your questionnaire answers are stored locally. Email addresses are stored on encrypted servers in the EU.
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted database storage
- Restricted access on need-to-know basis
- Regular security audits
No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
5. Data retention
- Questionnaire answers: Stored only in your browser.
- Email addresses: Retained until launch, then deleted within 12 months.
- Server logs: 30 days maximum.
6. Your rights
Under the EU GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to:
- Access
- Correction
- Deletion
- Portability
- Objection
- Withdrawal of consent
- Complaint to CNIL
To exercise these rights, email us. We respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies and tracking
Envurn uses only the following:
- localStorage for questionnaire and language preferences
We do NOT use:
- Tracking cookies
- Third-party analytics
- Advertising trackers
- Cross-site tracking
8. Children's privacy
Envurn is not directed at children under 13.
If you are between 13 and 18, consult your parent or guardian.
9. International data transfers
Envurn operates from France. Standard Contractual Clauses apply for transfers outside the EEA.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
